I began learning on my own, exploring various courses. However, lacking a previous background, I felt a bit lost without a roadmap of requirements. Subsequently, I enrolled on the teachbit.ro platform, where I found a clear structure outlining the knowledge I needed to acquire.
I greatly benefited from the exercises, laboratories, and practical tasks integrated into the course structure. Devoting sufficient time to practice, I ensured a deep comprehension of the theoretical concepts I learned. This consistent and focused application allowed me to solidify my understanding and construct a comprehensive knowledge base.
In the initial stages, it posed a considerable challenge. However, as I advanced in my learning journey, the process became notably smoother. Witnessing the simplicity with which I could emulate, simulate, and deploy droplets across different providers, the hands-on practice evolved into an experience that closely mirrored real-world scenarios, which enhanced the authenticity of my learning and made the theoretical concepts more tangible and accessible.
I chose cybersecurity because I see it as a domain that aligns not only with my strengths and interests but also with my character traits. It presents a significant challenge, accompanied by substantial responsibility. Moreover, I view it as a field that will continuously evolve in the future, providing ongoing opportunities for learning and growth.
At first, I got interested in car cybersecurity because I saw issues arising with how quickly cars are changing. Then, I noticed how much we depend on technology every day, and security is a big issue. Also, in structural engineering, we use a lot of software for design, and I saw many tasks getting automated. This made me trust my instincts and try out the IT field to see if it suits me.
